'Financial Fitness' expo set for 9 a.m. tomorrow in Pleasanton

The city of Pleasanton will host a free financial fitness expo for those 55 and older Saturday, October 20, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd. This event will feature objective information geared to older adults on how to obtain the financial fitness necessary for a long and sustainable retirement. It includes workshops by experts in their fields and exhibitors with information about services and products to help navigate retirement planning. It includes workshops by experts in their fields and exhibitors with information about services and products to help navigate retirement planning. The keynote speaker will be Steve Wilcox, talking on the topic of "You're Retiring, Your Money Can't" at 9:15 a.m. Wilcox is a founding partner of Summit Financial Group in San Ramón. A second presentation at 1:15 p.m. is entitled "Strategies for Maximizing Retirement Income.
