Memorial garden dedicated in honor of Pleasanton soldier killed in Afghanistan
Kyle Weissberg, 12, reads message about U.S. Army Specialist Jameson Lindskog on plaque posted in his honor at memorial garden next to Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department headquarters. His parents Carolyn and John McDonough stand behind him. Carolyn said she became a friend of Donna Walker and Jameson when they would come to visit when she lived in Half Moon Bay. "Jameson loved the ocean and animals," she said. "He was a sweet little boy and a wonderful, one-of-a-kind young man." Photo by Jeb Bing.
