Earthquake, fire emergency preparedness class at 6 p.m. tonight

Learn how to prepare for emergencies such as earthquakes or fires

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department will be providing a free Personal Emergency Preparedness class in the multipurpose room Hearst Elementary School, located at 5301 Case Avenue, from 6-8 p.m. this evening.

Attendees will learn how to prepare for an earthquake or fire by making personal disaster plans, which includes establishing family meeting places and addressing emergency communication strategies.

LPFD volunteer certified safety professional, Jay Jamali, will teach how to make a disaster kit and answer any questions about personal emergency preparedness.

Just began CERTS Community Emergency Rescue Team training last week and was quite surprised how ill equipped and lacking the knowledge I need to have for personal and family survival after a major or even minor disaster. I highly suggest everyone who values themselves go to this emergency preparedness class. Find out what is the most important item one must store for survival...

Hi...I would really like to attend this meeting but can't. Is there another one anywhere soon? Or are there any leaflets from the meetings that are attainable from somewhere please?

Yes, we went several days without the zellots trying to tell us that quakes are a result of fracking and other valuable ways of getting us the resources we need while profiting from investments.
