Pleasanton police seek driver in hit and run crash

Motorcyclist received 'significant injuries' in collision

Pleasanton police are asking for help in finding the driver of a truck involved in a hit and run that injured a motorcyclist late Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred at about 5:02 p.m. on Stoneridge Drive near Rialto Way. The motorcycle rider was transported to Eden Hospital with significant injuries.

The victim and multiple witnesses described the vehicle as a black Toyota Tacoma or Nissan-type pickup truck. The truck is said to have chrome six or seven spoke rims and low-profile tires. It may also have a tinted rear window and a fiberglass bed cover.

Witnesses described the pickup's driver as a Hispanic male in his mid to late thirties with black hair.

Anyone who can identify the driver or the vehicle or who might have information relating to the collision is asked to call the Pleasanton Police Department at 931-5100.

Pleasanton native sounds like a typical ignorant leftist. Not only is she wrong, but she ignores the tragedy that this hit and run is. Focus on the issue and quit with the petty name calling and childish rants.
