A new program at the Pleasanton Public Library is offering free legal information and referrals. Called "Lawyers in the Library," the program is co-sponsored by the Alameda County Bar Association on the third Tuesday of each month, starting today, Oct. 8. This program is free and open to all. Each person will have a 15 to 20 minute free consultation with a member of the Alameda County Bar Association. Appointments are by lottery. Register from 5:30 to 5:45 pm.
