Tri-Valley Community Television will begin a series of broadcasts at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. tonight on Channel 28 of Tuesday's Candidates Forum, an event featuring the four candidates seeking election to an open seat on the Pleasanton City Council. The candidates, Mark Hamilton, David Miller, Kathy Narum and Olivia Sanwong, faced off before a standing-room-only crowd at the Pleasanton Weekly forum, held in the Pleasanton Civic Center, answering questions and presenting their own views on how they would address key issues facing the city if elected. The vote-by-mail-only election is under way now with mail-in ballots due in the Alameda County Registrar's office no later than 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, which is officially Election Day. The broadcast schedule going forward is Thursday, 3 p.m., TV28, and 11 p.m., TV30; Friday, 9 a.m., TV28; Saturday, 11:30 a.m., TV28; Sunday, 7 p.m., TV28; Tuesday, 11 p.m., TV30. The Candidates Forum broadcast may also be shown at additional times as TV30's schedule permits, said Melissa Tench-Stevens, Tri-Valley Community Television's executive director.
