The Pleasanton School board will get an update on the latest financial news from the state at its meeting tonight.
The update has been scheduled to take only about five minutes.
Luz Cazares, assistant superintendent of business services, has said the district expects little new information until the middle of November, after a vote on two separate school funding measures.
Also expected by mid-month is a new report from state officials on how much the state has taken over recent months.
The school board will meet in closed session at 5 p.m., with an open session beginning at 7. The meeting will be held at the district office board room, 4665 Bernal Ave.
