Woman's body found in brush at BART station

A woman's body was found Thursday afternoon in the brush near the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station parking structure, a BART police lieutenant said.

Someone called police about a body in the bushes around 12:30 p.m., BART police Lt. M. Hayes said. The body was discovered just feet from the large BART parking structure on the Dublin side.

An officer was sent to the area and found a person who appeared to have died in what authorities are calling an "unattended death," according to Hayes.

The circumstances of the death are being investigated, he said.

BART service is running normally, BART spokesman Jim Allison said.

Does this mean no apparent foul play?

How come it seems any police incident that happens in the Tri-Valley is so cryptic when information is released to the public?

Well, my friend, I think it is often essential to withhold information from the public. Say, for example, that you're running for president: It simply is not in the public's interest to know where and how you've invested your money over the course of your career. Democracy is great and everything, but some things the public just isn't mature enough to handle.

Hopefully Dublin can do better with this than Pleasanton has done with it's 3 dead females. I am very disappointed with the PPD. I agree Pro-Law they are slow and cryptic with information and quick to blame any other agency for the lack of information.

I believe man committed suicide on that same parking structure just a few weeks ago...if not that one than the other Dublin station.

Melanie, I doubt Dublin will do better since Bart pd is handling the case. Ppd does fine, they don't release all their findings as to likely not hinder the case. I bet they are already 10 steps ahead of what you think.

Anon- I did not say that they didn't know anything. I said they are cryptic and slow with information. PPD has blamed the Alameda County Sheriff for the slowness in the cases.

Everyone knows police agencies don't hand out their case file to the public. This is a small community it's not like PPD is into triple digit homicides and are so overwhelmed that they can't speak on every case. I get the idea that actually it does happen so little here that they are not able to handle it as well as other communities or say the very Sheriff that they blame it on. I especially think, and I have said it before, that the girl found on Dublin Canyon needs someone in the PPD like the Detectives at the Sheriffs Dept. to take interest in the case like they did with Castro Valley Jane Doe. Without the amount of concern, time, diligence and resources put into that case it would have went unsolved. I will be happily surprised if this ever gets solved...hate to say it but since she doesn't have a name and the public can't tangibly see her family in pain it will fade away off of most peoples minds.

Mittens, off topic again, I see. What you meant to say was:

Well, my friend, I think it is often essential to withhold information from the public. Say, for example, that you are president: It simply is not in the public's interest to know where you allegedly went to school, where you were born, what your transcripts tell us and how you've invested your money over the course of your career (assuming you actually held a job).
Democracy is great and everything, but some things the public just isn't mature enough to handle, like vetting the guy occupying the White House.

Exactly! Thank you for the kind words! For there surely are some genuine Americans who have doubts about Obama going to school, graduating, being born in this country (see my friend, Joe Arpaio), and how in the heck he became president of the Harvard Law Review without ever attending classes because he was organizing ACORN. Then it gets murkier when he becomes a law professor at the Univ of Chicago Law School. What's arguably the best law school in the country doing hiring such an obvious slacker?

At least I was vetted properly by John McCain's staff, before they decided Sarah Palin was the better candidate to run the country should McCain have passed away.

By the way, does anyone out there have transcripts/grades for any of our past presidents? I ask because it has been a very important concern of us all for centuries now. Who would you rather have as president: someone who won't show you his tax returns or someone who went to school in Indonesia, studying under terrorist Muslims?

liberalism is a disease is a registered user.

Mittens, you're right, of course. No one else had any of their records available in the public domain...ever.
I guess when obami said he would have the most transparent administration ever, he actually meant that we could all see right through him. No substance there....hence the questions about his past.....

Mittens and Liberalism - Get a hobby, get a job, just GET A LIFE!!!

This original post was about a female being found dead - why do you always have to bring every single topic around to Obama. He was born in America - he is your President - get over it!
