Ceminsky chosen as new principal at Donlon Elementary in Pleasanton

Moves from vice principal post at Amador Valley High to succeed Amy Simione, who moved

Stephanie Ceminsky, who served as an assistant principal at Amador Valley High School this past school year, has been selected to be the new principal at Donlon Elementary School in Pleasanton.

She will succeed Amy Simione, who resigned her principal's position at Donlon in order to relocate to the east coast.

Ceminsky has more than nine years of experience as a school administrator. She has served as an assistant principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and as a summer school principal for grades 5-8. Her teaching experience includes elementary school (grades 1-4), middle school (6th grade), as well as experience teaching special education students in both resource and special day class settings.

She has a bachelor's degree from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minn., and her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from St. Mary's College in Moraga.

Congratulations to Stepahnie! The obvious question now is who will replace her as VP at Amador?

Yes, prior to Stephanie's selection as Donlon's new principal, the district announced that she and Lori would switch high schools. So the question then is, who will replace Lori at Foothill?
