Last day to vote for your Reader's Choices

Ballot only online through June 26

What's the best place to buy a hamburger? How about sushi? Share your opinion about this and much more by voting in the 2011 Readers Choice contest.

The ballot is now online to cast your vote for the best places in the Pleasanton area to shop, eat, get vehicles serviced, have pets groomed and so on -- there are dozens of categories.

Vote in at least five categories and be entered into the Weekly's drawing for dinner at the restaurant voted Best Outdoor Dining. Winners will be drawn at random and contacted by email after June 26.

The ballot also has a place to suggest any categories you would like to see added. It will be online through June 26, and results will be announced in the July 22 edition.

The Pleasanton Weekly has been holding its annual Readers Choice contest since 2005.

I tried to support my favorite businesses and vote yesterday, June 26th vut was unable to do so. It came up as voting closed. This whole "contest" is obviously rigged. They advertise that you can vote through June 26th and then won't let you. Today they're advertising that today is the last day to vote but don't provide a link and are still using yesterdays date. Get it together Plesanton Weekly.
