Register the kids for a Cheer Clinic or Mini Cheer Camp

Elementary and middle-school aged students are invited to spend a fun-filled day with the Amador Valley cheerleaders from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, at AVHS Small Gym, Santa Rita Rd. Parents can spend their day doing some holiday shopping while students will learn a cheer and a dance from Amador's nationally ranked competition squad. Cost is $50. Call 600-7810. Also, the Foothill High School competition cheer teams will host a Mini Cheer Camp from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, at the High School Small Gym, 4375 Foothill Rd. Participants will learn new moves, dances and cheers from FHS' nationally ranked cheer squads. Registration open to grades K-6; includes class, T-shirt, certificate and mystery gift.
