Weddings

Megan Elizabeth Newton and Christopher Brian Lanese were married Aug. 27, 2005 at the Edgewood Country Club in South Lake Tahoe.

Megan is the daughter of Carolyn and Jeff Newton of Pleasanton. She graduated from Foothill High School in 2000 and Dartmouth College in 2004. She is currently working toward her master's degree in clinical social work at Boston College.

Christopher is the son of Marie and Lance Lanese of Sammamish, Wash. He graduated from Monreau Catholic High School in 1999 and Dartmouth College in 2003. He is currently attending Harvard Law School.

The couple honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii after the ceremony. The make their residence in Cambridge, Mass.
