(November 26, 2004) Robert McLeod Miller
Robert McLeod Miller, a 32-year Pleasanton resident, died Oct. 31. He was 77.
Born in Omaha, Neb., on May 9, 1927, he served in the U.S. Army and was an U.S. merchant marine. He was also a district sales manager, and since 1979, he was the owner of the Cheese Taster Deli in Fremont.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Vineyard Branches NCC, San Joaquin Yacht Club and International Order of the Blue Gavel.
He loved his dogs and among his hobbies, he enjoyed reading, gardening and boating.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy; his children and their spouses, Robert and Betsy, Charles and Liz, Frank, Linda and Stephen, Diana and Glenn, Christine and Lyn and Janet and Phil; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Mass celebrating his life was held at St. Augustine Catholic Church and he was buried at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
