What do you think should be on the Bernal property? Asked at the Bernal Block Party

This should be a park that has a children's play area. Right now, there's no place for children to play in the Bernal neighborhood. Sports fields are all right, but I don't want anything that creates too much traffic.

I'd like to see sports fields, plus something to do with the arts and some walkways around the park.

I like the cultural arts plan for art galleries. The trails are important. What I don't see in these plans is a dog park, something that I would really like to have. We have one in town, but it's not nearly enough for the whole population.

I'd like to see a water play area like they have at the new Val Vista Park - something that's natural looking, with water coming over the rocks and all. This is a hot environment and I look for areas where the kids can play in the water, with sand and all.

There could be baseball fields, skateboard parks or whatever. But it's the people who live in Pleasanton who must make the final decision.
