How should the City Council vote this Tuesday on the Waterslides expansion plan? Asked in the Del Prado neighborhood and Sports Park

Sandy Christman
Corte Altamira
My family has enjoyed water parks and I think this one's a good idea if it will have strict controls against bad language and behavior. I'd also oppose season passes since in other parks I've seen how these invite those in who need a place to just hang out.

Caroline Christman, 8
Sandy Christman's daughter
We go to waterslides in other places. It would be nice to have one in Pleasanton. Manteca's is just a big rip-off.

Karen Fleschler
Calle Altamira
I'm ambivalent about it. My kids used to go there when they were young and it probably would be a good use for that land. But the council needs to make sure that our roads can handle the traffic.

Andy Smith

I think they should vote yes. The disagreements against it aren't strong enough to keep it out. Pleasanton is a good community, and I think the people will be respectful of the neighborhood.

Michael Kim
Arbor Drive
At this point I'd vote against it. I don't think it's necessary here in Pleasanton with the added traffic it would bring. It would give kids a waterslide park but my big fear is who else would be coming into Pleasanton. I think that's the big concern.
