Eric Lewis, 17, a junior at Amador Valley High, received his Eagle Scout ranking from Pleasanton Troop No. 916, after he created the Garden of Character at Harvest Park Middle School. He planned, organized and helped build 12 raised gardening beds for the science classes and ecology club of Marsha Jones, his former teacher. Eric is the son of Chris and Bill Lewis. He is carrying on the family tradition, as his dad Bill, and uncles Jeff, Doug and Mike are also all Eagle Scouts.
