Eric Lewis, a junior at Amador Valley High, received his Eagle Scout ranking from Pleasanton Troop No. 916, after he created the Garden of Character at Harvest Park Middle School. He planned, funded and built 12 raised gardening beds for the science classes and ecology club of Marsha Buck, his former teacher. Eric is carrying on the family tradition, as his dad Chris, and uncles Jeff, Doug and Mike are also all Eagle Scouts.

Brandon Larson planned and organized the re-landscaping in the front of Harvest Park Middle School to reach his Eagle Scout ranking recently. He received help from 29 other Scouts, friends and family.
