Harmony Crossroads Womenís Chorus

San Francisco Girls Chorus
The chorus will hold auditions for girls ages 7-12 years for the Chorus
School Music Education Program in San Francisco and Oakland on June 15
in San Francisco. No previous music training required for beginning levels.
The music program provides training in vocal technique, sight-singing,
study skills and music theory. Need-based tuition assistance is available.

The Band
The Band, a new East Bay youth, grades 6-9, performance ensemble, is hosting
an open rehearsal-guest artist night at 7 p.m., Monday, April 22, at Piedmont
Middle School, 800 Magnolia St., Piedmont, to recruit new members. Students
and adults are invited to bring their wind and percussion instruments
and play with The Band.

Pleasanton Unified School District
The school board meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
The April meeting has been rescheduled to April 30 to accomodate the second

Art Through Discovery and Woodcut Classes
Learn about artists and the language of art through demonstrations and

Senior Center. A class for woodcut and printmaking, a Japanese art form
using wood blocks, meets 1-3 p.m., Monday, also at the center. Both classes

The Valley Community Health Center is offering a free ongoing parenting

County residents with children under 18 years old at home. A $15 fee purchases
the book ìActive Parenting of Teens,î which is used as basis for the class.

May Trio in Debut Performance

The Valley Choral Society will hold a concert celebrating American composers

Amador Valley High School Evening Fund Raiser
Two fund-raising events will be held benefiting the Amador Valley High
School Breakfast-Class of 2002. Fresh Choice, 2453 Stoneridge Mall, will
donate 20 percent of sales made between 5-9 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday, April 22-24; and Chevyís, 5877 Owens Dr., will donate 15 percent
in sales made between 5:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, April 29.
Annual Spring Downtown History Walk
The history walk, led by architect and local historian Charles Huff, will
be held 10 a.m., Thursday, May 9, beginning in front of the Amador Valley
Historical Museum, 603 Main St. The walk lasts approximately two hours
with Huff discussing the history of downtown buildings as well as the

Annual Spring Festival
Crow Canyon Gardens, San Ramon, will hold its annual Spring Festival,
featuring hard-to-find heirloom plants, classes and demonstrations on

Monterey for the Day
A touring coach will travel to Monterey for a day of sight seeing or shopping.

stop at Cannery Row for lunch and the remaining afternoon can be spent

Pleasanton V.I.P. Senior Club
