Total Tree Care Class
Crow Canyon Institute is currently taking registrations for its free class from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, July 8. Concerts in the Park

ÔFrets and FriendsÕ Benefit Concert
Guitarist Todd Hallawell will entertain at a concert benefitting the Livermore Rotary Music Scholarship Fund at 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 30, at the VeteranÕs Building, 522 South L St., Livermore. Dinner & Summer Ballroom Dancing
Dinner and summer ballroom dancing to the music of the Starlighters Orchestra will be held from 5-8:30 p.m., Friday, July 14, at the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd. Dinner reservations are required by July 11. Environment

First Wednesday Street party
Downtown PleasantonÕs ÒRed, White and BluesÓ First Wednesday Street Party will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, July 5. Main Street will be closed for dancing, dining and shopping. Fedora Blues Revue and the Clay Burton Blues band will be playing. There will be fresh produce from the mid-week Farmers Market and local beers and wines.

July 4 Celebration in Wayside Park
Bring the whole family for a day of festivities and an old-fashioned Fourth of July at Wayside Park on First Street in Pleasanton. The picnic begins at 11:30 a.m. and the Pleasanton Community Concert Band will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with a program of rousing music. There will also be lots of singing and oratory.

Amador Livermore Valley Museum
An eclectic collection of enamels, boxes and steins will be featured from June through Sept. 15 at the Amador Livermore Valley Museum, 603 Main St., Pleasanton. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and donations are apreciated. For more information, call 462-2766.

Fibers of My Being - Art Quilts

Paintings of the Tri-Valley
An eclectic collection of original paintings of the Tri-Valley is currently featured at the Amador Livermore Valley Museum, 603 Main St. The group of paintings shown by members of the Pleasanton Art League board of directors will be on display through June 30. CPR Classes
The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department offers cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes taught by firefighters. The class teaches basic lifesaving skills, the Heimlich maneuver and preventive signs of a heart attack, stroke and choking. Classes formed based on interest. Cost is $25. Call 454-2375 for details.

Dig into Books
Join Barnes & Noble summer reading program and read your way to thrilling surprises and adventure with rewards at the end. Pleasanton Summer Camps
The city of Pleasanton is offering several summer camp programs. Hill Hoppers Camp is a nature program for children ages 4-5. Ridge Runners Camp for children ages 6-11 meets up on the Pleasanton Ridge, where they spend a week learning and appreciating the natural environment. There is also the Adventure Camp, where the children will spend the week making arts and crafts, swimming and much more! Reading Cats and Dogs Summer Reading Game
All children and their families are invited to participate in the libraryÕs summer reading program, ÒReading Cats and Dogs.Ó A pet-themed reading game, entertainment, storytimes and other activities will run through Aug. 11. Summer Storytimes at the Library
Storytimes for children ages 3 to 6 will be held Fridays with two sessions, one at 10:30 a.m. and one at 11:30 p.m., each lasting about 30 minutes and including stories, music, puppetry and other special programming. Amador-Livermore Valley Museum
The museum, located at 603 Main St., is looking for any and all photos of Tri-Valley and Sunol landscape scenes, buildings, churches, businesses, cultural and community events, families, and family events from today back to the 1800s. The new wing at the center in Pleasanton will soon be open and volunteers are needed now for training in order to be ready to work in the new wing. DRC Club, Company
DRC Club is a support group and socialization program for women in the early stages of memory loss such as Alzheimer's. Company is the comparable menÕs group. Aerobics

Summer Sports Camps
The city of Pleasanton, Department of Parks and Community Services, is offering 63 sports camps this summer with most camps running for five days. Vision Support Group
