Blue Star Mom 5th Charity Golf Tournament
The Blue Star Moms Chapter 101 5th Charity Golf Tournament supporting our Gold Star Families will be from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, May 29 at Callipe Preserve. Tickets are $200 and include Foot Joy Shoes, lunch and dinner, and one free round of golf. With Color Guard Opening Ceremony, and the opportunity to meet active duty Soldiers and Marines. Super Diamond: The Neil Diamond Tribute
Surreal Neil and Super Diamond will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, May 29-30 at the Firehouse Arts Center. AAUW Now Accepting Applications
The Livermore-Pleasanton-Dublin branch of AAUW is offering scholarships to local women who will be college juniors in Fall 2015. Fresh Works 5
See this annual juried installation features 73 artists using a wide variety of media, including oil, watercolor, photography and sculpture, running May 2-June 6. An opening reception with the artists and awards ceremony will be from 1-3 p.m. on opening day. Light refreshments will be served. 50 Years of Rotary
The 50 Years of Rotary is a joint celebration of the Rotary clubs in Pleasanton, including The Rotary Club of Pleasanton, The Rotary Club of Pleasanton North, Tri-Valley Evening Rotary Club, and Tri-Valley Rotary Clubs. Body Image Anonymous (BIA/BDD)
Body Image Anonymous is a support group for those living with Body Dysmorphic Disorder or other related body image disorders. Our goal is to restore our "true selves," finding self acceptance and recovery. Meetings are 3-4:30 p.m. the last Sunday of the month at the Pleasanton Library. Pleasanton Fife & Drum lessons given
Pleasanton's 1776-era Colonial Fife & Drum Band is now accepting new members for a limited time. Learn to play drum or fife (flute) for only $10 per 1.5 hour small group lesson, ages 8-17, from 6:30-8:15 p.m. Fridays. Experience helpful but not required. Learn music, history and leadership. Rotary Club of Pleasanton North
Pleasanton North Rotary invites anyone interested in making a difference. The membership includes 65 professionals, business owners, executives, managers and community leaders. Support Groups

Pleasanton Military Families Support Group
Formed in 2003 this group provides support and comfort to the Pleasanton families whose loved ones are deployed in the combat zones of Afghanistan and Iraq. The group has monthly meetings and other events such as "pack outs" of comfort and care items for deployed members of the armed forces. The group also sponsors the Yellow Streamer program on Main Street where streamers are displayed with the name, rank and branch of service of Pleasanton military personnel. Learn more at


Senior Mens Social Club
Sons In Retirement (SIR) is a social club for senior men. In addition to friendships, members can participate in interest groups like golf, bridge, travel, photography, etc. We meet for lunch first Thursday of the month at San Ramon Golf Club. Peddler Shoppe at the Senior Center
The Peddler Shoppe in the lobby of the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd., offers the handmade wares of talented local senior artisans. It's a great place to buy gifts. Friends of the Library Online Book Sale

Dublin Senior Center Dance Classes
Seniors are invited to a Beginning Latin Line Date from 1-2:15 p.m. Tuesdays; cost is $12 for four classes per month or $15 for five classes per month. Dublin Senior Center Programs
Dublin Senior Center offers different programs and activities including "ESL" which helps seniors practice their English conversational skills, a Reading Group that meets monthly to discuss new books and a Needle Arts Group that enjoys quilting, sewing and knitting. Dublin Senior Center Mini-Library
The Dublin Senior Center Mini-Library is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday at the senior center, 7600 Amador Valley Blvd., Dublin. The library gladly accepts donations of like-new used books published in the last five years, puzzles, magazines within three months of distribution, and videotapes. Farmers Market
Visit the Pleasanton Farmers Market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. every Saturday, on East Angela Street between Main and First streets. The Farmers Market is open every Saturday, year-round, rain or shine, to provide the season's freshest fruits and vegetables, sold by the very farmers that planted, nurtured and harvested the crop.
